Anyone else having trouble sending email with .Mac?

I have been trying to send email for hours, and I kep getting a message that "The connection to the server 'smtp.mac.com' on port 25 timed out."

Is this a problem on my end or Apple's?

I was having problems with that using the mail app, since I switched to Eudora have not had any problems! <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />
