speed downloader

I tried out an app called speed-downloader



It was rubbish - I trashed it and not since then when I need to download a link from the web - ie. ICal - it doesn't work - it only works if I right click and target "save link as" etc



Problem is that some submit buttons are not rightclickable to get the download going



Any help would be very welcome

    I had this same problem. You must go into the IE preferences and change the file helpers for each and every thing that was replaced by the Speed Download Plug-in.



    There must be a way to trash some file to make IE default to its original state. I didn't look for long because I was about to reformat for 10.2 and that, of course, would solve the problem.

    what do I change the setting back too?



    IS it handle with browser - or save to file etc?

    having a hellsih time post speed downloader



    I need to reinstall my Explorer 5.2



    How do I trash the preferences for my existing explorer in OSX



    Where does the prefences file live??





    If I trash the following folders in

    Me - library - preferences - explorer



    Me - library - preferences - explorercontrol



    When both these are trashed it still doesn't work..In other words when I click on a .sit link it doesn't do anything - The only way to get a file is to right click and save to desktop - what else do I need to trash to get explorer back to how it should be
