Unix/Linux w/ pb1400 (G3 333mhz)?

Has anyone with the above mentioned pb (1400, with or without the G3 mod) running any flavor of Unix or Linux?



I currently have an iBook 600 combo (osx/9) and a tri-boot pc with FreeBSD 4.7, RedHat 8.0 and Winxp, and would like to find alternatives for my pb1400.



currently i'm using the 1400 as a mp3 player in my studio (Os 9 w/ itunes 1.0). It's ok, but i like to know if there are alternatives out there that is less "bloated" than os9.

    Yellow Dog Linux should run on it. I love YDL, they're great guys.

    Doh! just check the mailing list.... the pcmcia slots/cards in the pb1400 is not supported.
