10.2.2 Boot Issues:
I have a Tibook 667. I boot in 9.2.2 during the day at work from the internal drive. At night I boot the TiBook from an external FireWire 80 GB Apple/Maxtor drive. Never had problems. Ever. Period.
After the 10.2.2 update I noticed that when I boot at home (from the external drive running 10.2.2) it gets to about 80% complete (that Aqua progress bar sure is pertty), and then it says "waiting for local drives". It grinds away on my internal OEM TiBook drive for a long time. This "stall" takes about 5 minutes! Then it finishes and I log in as usual. No other problems, but a 7 minute boot time is insane! I am almost positive that the 10.2.2 update caused this.
Any ideas?
