Address book dissapeared

OK



I have been having some SERIOUS problems with my PB this must be the 5th thing i am posting here....



anyways, my address book disappeared, i haven't tried to restore it from backup yet..



any ideas as to what could have happened? it happened after I quit iChat.. when i started it back up all my names in the b/l disappeared, their screen names came back up (IE not their real names)... then after a repair of privileges and an fsck i reboot and nothing... nada all my contacts are gone... going to restore now...

    OK restore didnt work, im going to try to import my contacts off the iPod tomorrow morning instead of studying for my italian oral exam... <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

    well, it didn't work... my contacts are gone



    the best i could do was open up iSync and "revert to last backup" but i am still missing all of the AIM information i inputted recently...



    iSync needs an update.

    I understand your pain, except mine was Entourage totally delete off my account....... ( Till now, I still dun understand how...)



    Well, i guess one have to do constant backup for contacts and such. Tough luck Paul <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

    For cases like this it helps to even do a back up to the same disk. If you daily make a copy of your address book then you can recover from this kind of tragedy. BTW, I have never seen this kind of trouble.
