WinHEC and Mira technologies
I just watched the Mira demo on CNET. I have to admit the technology is rather interesting. At first I thought there is no way PC users are going to drag their beige boxes into the living room and connect it to the television. But according to the demo the data is going to be
transmitted via 802.11b. Eventually new televisions will have the wireless technology built in. Instead of burning a DVD to watch video or your family pics, you can stream them straight to the t.v. Hopefully Apple doesn't miss the boat on the whole digital hub thing. They have a history of starting the race, then being left in the dust.
