Dark powerbook screen

Greetings,



I have a 800 mhz powerbook g4 that displays a very dark screen. (yes, the brightness is maxed out) you can just make out the dock, the curser and the items on the desktop. I connected to another monitor, mirrored with no problem. Is my laptop screen hosed?

    Sounds like your backlight is gone.



    If your powerbook is under warranty (should be, no?) bring it in.
