Upgrading 2 Macs
I have a 500Mhz G4 (DVD Ram version) and a 733Mhz (Graphite).
I'm looking for a way to upgrade the newer machine and make use of anything taken out for the older one.
I have seen 2 different upgrade cards which fit dual 1G processors (Sonnet and Powerforce) but dont know anyone who has tried them. Are they any good?
Then will my 733Mhz processor go into my older Mac, and, if I also upgrade my graphics card (Geforce 4Ti or Radeon 9700 - any thoughts on those btw), will my GF2 go in the older mac?
Just as a last thought is there a card like the Matrox RT Mac that runs OSX native?
