Mountain Lion on 2010 MB Pro 13"

I have a 2010 MacBook Pro 13" (2.4GHz, 4GB, Intel Core 2 Duo) still running Snow Leopard and have been tempted to upgrade to the latest Mountain Lion. I know it meets system requirements but just wanted to get thoughts on performance for this slightly older model MB Pro- does it run as fast or faster than Snow Leopard? Anyone running on a similar configuration? I haven't updated simply because I have had a pretty stable machine and haven't wanted to mess with it or deal with possible sluggishness but the latest OS looks pretty slick.
