I was a little concerned because I still saw preparing order until this morning, but it appears that my iPhone 5 was already in transit and is already on the last leg to Los Angeles tonight, then to my house in the morning.
Got mine in my greedy little hands. Walked into the 3 store, gave them my ID card, waited for the paperwork, signed the paperwork, gave them my credit card, went home to sync.
After syncing, it's off to the (packed no doubt) Apple Store to look for a Lightning adapter, screen protector and a case.
The thing is light. Nice to know the bezel is a little smaller on top and bottom so the whole thing is only 0.5" longer than the 4/4s.
