My NEW iPhone 4S updated to iOS6 can't make calls anymore HELP

PLEASE HELP


 My iPhone 4S no longer dials numbers. The only way I can make calls is to add the person as a contact and then dial. I have the new keypad, but it no longer dials numbers and short of having a HUGE contact database I am over it.


 


I also have the issue of the battery drain.  I have always had iPhones this one is LOADED with problems. HELP!!
