Mouse sensitivity problems

After using a 10.2.2 for an hour or so, the mouse all of a sudden speeds up quite drastically. The only way to get the mouse to go back to its original speed is to reboot. I found a AppleCare document that said that sometimes the mouse will switch to the settings of the trackpad, but I have a tower, and no stylus.



suggestions? :confused:



edit: It also does it sometimes right at login, but not always.

    ? what kind of mouse ? (black; with hair; without; small; big; big teeth; etc.)

    Contour UniMouse (blueberry hair, two teeth and a scroll button).



    I don't see why the mouse would matter though because I am using the standard drivers...

    Is di poo widdle mousy wousy sensitive? Do he cwyyy when di bad wats tease him fo being so weeee?

    please try those <a href="http://www.contourdesign.com/mousedriver_v.x.htm"; target="_blank">drivers</a> and try again.

    i have the same probem with a logitec usb scroll mouse, only mine slows down and feels like it gets stuck then jerky.
