I was on the phone with a client today and started pissing about with the adjustments on my 17" apple studio monitor <the graphite one that came with the original G4s> anyway, rather than going back through and returning the thing to a readable useable display one button at a time, is there a way to return it via a factory setting button or sequence of?

I have learned my lesson and will never do this again. thanks

    what went wrong ?

you wrote it .. kinda ... difficult to understand...

anyways, I think what you did is play with the OSD (On Screen Display) and something ****ed up. I don't know what, you also didn't say.

Oh I just played with the postion and the bottle neck things.. so is uber tapperd at the top and bloated at the bottom and streched all over. I can see stuff foine but it all bent out of shape. Just wondering if there is a factory reset or do I have to play with it more and get it perfect agian.

    Lazy.

browse around there and find something like "reset" --> obviously.

Well that is a good Idea! However the "Reset" options are called "Recall" and when selected say there is "No Recall Available".

    sadly

Do you have a "geometry" tab under the Displays System Preference ?

Umm. i'm not familiar with your particular display, but if it works like most other CRTs, it should take you all of 30 seconds to adjust.

Are you THAT lazy? I guess i shouldn't expect a reply in that case
