Memory Stick in PC Card Giving Pismo Problems

Just last night, for the first time, my Pismo started acting up when I tried to put a Memory Stick in it's PC Card reader. I've had no problems before. It just usually thinks it's another volume on the machine.



I've tried both Memory Sticks that I own, and both come up in Silverlining Pro as damaged, and will not mount on the desktop. My computer then hangs excessively until I pretty much have to force restart.



I've tried rebuilding the desktop...no good. I've Norton Disk Doctored the machine (I'm still running 9.2.2 exclusively) and that didn't help anything. I'm still trying some other options, but so far I haven't gotten anywhere. Suggestions?

    what software did you install recently ? drivers ?

    try reformatting the memory sticks (or just one if you need the information on them)
