Is there anyway to extract the audio from a video that has been muxed? I did the old computer to stereo to computer in, but the sound quality is less then par, and so i ask this question
Just take the audio out of your video and put into your audio in on your interface or whatever and start recording. Check your settings are OK! i.e 16bit 44.1Khz sample rate etc.

Though, since you say muxed, I suspect it is an MPEG video, right? Well, I believe you can use ffmpegX to do demux files. Check VersionTracker for it.
