New iMac audio input

Did not see an audio input on the new iMac's. Did I miss seeing it?

    USB and Thunderbolt.


     


    Guess they figure the majority of input is done outside the 3.5mm format.

    So I'll need an 3.5mm to USB or Thunderbolt adapter?
