DVD Burning Problems on PowerBook

I am getting a little frustrated.



I am trying to burn data DVDs on my new PowerBook G4. When I burn with Finder it burns fine, although there are a couple downsides...the amount of time it takes and the lack of cross-platformness of the DVD.



I tried burning with Toast but I keep getting errors. I burned a DVD with Toast before but it was only a couple gigs...and the more recent ones have been almost 4gigs.



Is there a problem with Toast and burning DVDs?



Any help would be much appreciated.





Spec Breakdown:



1ghz G4

512MB RAM

OS X 10.2.3

Toast 5.2

    I don't like it when a thread gets no response, but I have no SD, so it would be nice if someone could help him who has one.
