Hey there everyone! I was wondering if there was a way to automatically mount a set of drives when you log on either using AppleScript or some other method?

We have like 7 drives at work that need to be mounted everytime I edit machine logs on. Is there a way to automate it?

IIRC, you can just alias the drive when it's been mounted the first time. then after that, to remount it just click on the alias or try to access a file on the drive.

Yeah I tried that but when you double click on the alias' it opens up windows for each drive. It would be great if the drives just popped on.

otherwise if you put the alias in the startup items (in OS 9). not sure what the equivelent is in OSX though. sorry, still learning the ins and outs of X.
