Maximum Hard Drive Space?

I am thinking about upgrading my hard drive space. I have a 40Gb in my PowerMac G4 (AGP Graphics). I have recently been doing a lot of digital video work and am quickly running out of space. However, I recall reading somewhere that there is a maximum amount, or a limit to how much space my Mac can handle. Does anyone recall the exact number, or even if this is true?

Thanks a lot!

with your old one, it's 137 GB internal, but if you use a internal PCI card with ATA on it, or an external FireWire HD, there shouldn't be a limit.

OS 9 supports up to 2 Terabytes max, but not sure about OS X.

So if you put an internal hard drive in one of those firewire enclosures, there should be no limit?

that depends on the firewire bridge.
