10.2.3 can't read Audio CDs, but 9.2.2 can...help

I have a TiBook 667 and ever since I installed 10.2.3, I can't read audio CDs or burn CDs through iTunes. if I boot into 9, its not a problem. Any idea what the problem could be? Its kind of a pain to have to reboot everytime I want to rip one of my CDs or burn one.

    okey dokey... one things to try:



    delete everything in ~/Library/Caches/



    try again.
