Ok. So I am very sure the power supply has fried for my iMac. (Not the screen) I have tested it with a volt-ohm meter and it reads nothing. (The power supply that is) I have looked on the net everywhere to try to figure out how to build some sort of power supply for it to no avail, so I was wondering if anyone could help me out. thanks.

Perhaps you could get the repair/tech manual for the version of the imac you have off ebay. As far as that goes you might be able to find one cheap.

I'm in the middle of the ATX mod for the original iMac series; I have several motherboards to play with.

I just purchased a DV mobo, though, and I would also like to mod it for an ATX powersupply also.

I will look around for the link to the original iMac mod, maybe that will get you pointed in the right direction.

Try <a href="http://www.xlr8yourmac.com"; target="_blank">www.xlr8yourmac.com</a> and searching for the mod. There are lots of things there.

You could also try the hack at <a href="http://www.applefritter.com"; target="_blank">www.applefritter.com</a> (which is a really fun site in its own right).
