Airport base station stuck...

Base station gets stuck on single left amber LED on start-up.. Is this solvable by replacing capacitors?

    If you mean did I hold down the restart mechanism for 30 secs+ then that's an affirmative... nothing happened.

    The first night I had it it finally went green after being left on all evening but then only when I started to pull the power supply out the back....? Have tried same since with no repeat performance.

    No odd noises to report either...
