iTunes TV shows keep on getting marked unread

Is this a known bug?  I am storing my purchased TV shows on my computer, and viewing them on my AppleTV.   Every once in a while a bunch of previously watched TV shows show up as unread.

    It's known in that I have the same problem, and it applies to movies, too.
