Whenever I launch Black & White I hear the game working but I just see all black. Then there is no way to get out of it so I have to do a cold shut down. I even reformated my harddrive and it still doesn't work. Could anyone help me?
can you change the video settings without launching the game? i would guess it's trying to run something that's not working. drop the settings down to the lowest possible level and then go from there, assuming that works. eventually you'll find the highest settings that your machine will run.

Have you tried updating the game with one of the available updaters? <a href="http://versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=13673&db=mac"; target="_blank">This one</a> for example.
