ibook tangerine won't start up

it runs mac os 8.6, the agency i'm working

for, lost the system cd, so i have to solve it the hard way.



all system extensions are in the disabled folder and it still won't start up, stating error 114.



funnily it starts up fine holding down the shift

button.



any suggestions?
