I have this old PowerMac 8100. I'd like to hook it up to my network and use it for file stoage. The only problem is it can't see the network, and my server can't see it. It has a valid IP Address and is somehow connected to the interent. How do I get my network to show and interent to work?

What OS is it running? Did you go into the File Sharing control panel and make sure sharing is turned on? Did you select your Hard Drive, Get Info and turn sharing on for the drive specifically? Can you ping one machine from the other?

It's running Mac OS 9.1. Yes, yes, no. But my server can see it only using the Network Utilities and netstat.
