Quicktime Pro can. Open your mpeg(2?) file, export to whatever audio file format (.aif, .wav,...). Done.

i have quicktime pro but there are no audio export options. I can export the video to different formats but it loses the sound and all i want is the sound :/

Yeah, ZO is right. Consumer cameras that record videos sometimes used MPEG1 Muxed. Muxed MPEGs play horribly on a mac for some reason. BBDemux from version tracker will separate a muxed MPEG into an audio and video track.
