OS X and Palm non-sync?

Anyone else been down this friggin' path? Palm device stopped talking to odious windows machine at work ('have to admire its standards) AND THEN it stopped talking to my rev. A iBook (10.2.3).



Reinstalled Palm desktop 4.0, hard started the Palm, they flash 'we're looking for the other machine' and don't do diddly.



Honestly, Apple's dependence upon Palm to carry the burden of a PDA is getting tedious.

    do you have iSync installed ? there could be something..which I know, but I'm not sure if it's right. So ?
