iBook Clam Shell

I have a clam shell iBook, that is basicly tosted. The HD is shot and the lcd is gone. I dismanted the thing about a year ago and took off the screen and made it into a picture frame, basicly recked any chance of getting it to work again. Then today I was looking at some sites that sell lcds and hds and got to thinkin... I put it back togther as best I could then turned it on, the cracked lcd will turn on for a sec then turn off then flicker then turn off. Now I am wondering is it just the broken lcd of did i damage some chips :confused: ? Other than that I think its still in workin order. Does anyone here know any way I can get some used parts or really good deals on like the handle the drive faceplate for an Indigo. Also what store is the best for an iBook like mine? P.S. Do the silver cable like wires I think there ground wires need to be hooked up? Cause I destroyed the points where they go when I was taking it apart the first time <img src="embarrassed.gif" border="0">
