Whenever I try to open anything that is compressed, Stuffit Expander will open automatically and then it will unexpectedly quit, though now I expect it to quit each time. I need some help thanks. iBook 800, 30gig, 640ram, and 10.2.3
I was having a similar problem although it wasn't every time. I just updated to a newer version and removed the old one. It doesn't happen so much anymore but it seems Safari likes to mess up tar.gz files and then stuffit goes nuts on them, last time it just popped up a spinning disk then I got an out of memory error (I have 768 megs) I tried it again on the same file but this time i had top running in terminal and stuffit started using more and more memory...
