Windows Printing to Mac connected Samsung ML-1430
My friend has a Samsung ML-1430 connected to his Mac. He wants to allow his Windows box to print to it. The folks <a href="http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20021101062604548"; target="_blank">here</a> have detailed how to do it with an HP DeskJet.
For those without CUPS support, Gimp-Print is an option to add more printers. However, the Samsung ML-1430 isn't supported directly by Gimp-Print either.
This printer DOES have direct support from Samsung for Linux, which suggests Samsung did write CUPS drivers. (Right?) Would it be possible to somehow install these in OS X? And would this help?
