I've looked at EVERY option there is. Nothing there to select a 700MB CDR instead of the default 650. And yet, one of the tauted new features IS to be able to use 700MB cds.

Help... anyone

I hope somebody out there knows how to burn 700mb CD's. I've been trying for awhile and the only things I have been able to find is to use Toast. However I'd rather not buy a 100 program if I can find a way to do it for free.

"Support for different sizes of recordable discs (such as 700 MB) lets you pick a size to fit your backup."

I think it's just recognized when the CD is inserted. I have no problem writing 80 minutes (700 MB) in iTunes.

the prob is, there IS no way to choose 700MB CDS.

The ONLY thing I havent tried is actually starting to backup a bit more than 650MB where it will ask me 2CDs and then insert a 700 and see if it recognizes it on the fly.

Would be annoying or cool if it did... depending on the point of view
