Will RAM from a 1ghz TiBook be okay in a 400mhz TiBook ?

I'm maxing out the RAM in my 1ghz TiBook, and want to find a good use for the 2 X 256mb RAM that I will be replacing (while I kick myself for not at least getting 512mb in one slot when I purchased the TiBook). I don't figure on anyone being particularly interested in buying them, so I was going to offer them to a friend with a 400mhz TiBook...is anyone aware of compatibility issues? If yes, can anyone think of another good use for the old RAM?

    It's rated faster than he would need (PC133 vs PC100), but it would work just fine in there.
