Is it just me, or does everyone else hate the way that all the crap from day to day usage builds up at the thumb of the Pro Mouse?

Not on the outside where you can wash it away - but on the inside?

Is it possible to open these things up? Or have any of you discovered a clever way of cleaning inside the mouse? I should imagine this problem is even worse with the white Pro Mouse?

I think it's just you: looking closely at my mouse, I can't see any crud on the inside.

Of course, it's just you. Everybody else likes it.

Do you mean under the two semi circles either side, that allow you to pick up the mouse and keep the 'button' pressed? I use a mini (3 inch long) vacuum cleaner with a soft bristle attachment.

I did actually get one to pieces last June, but since it was dead, I was drunk and the principal tool used was a big fire, I'm a bit hazy on the details...

    FYI, the circuit board doesn't burn. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />
