mail and internet connection sharing

Ok, I have a 17" 800mghz iMac connected to a Linksys etherfast cable/dsl router which is connected to my DSL line. I put an Airport card in the iMac and turned internet connection sharing on so that I could use my 12" powerbook wirelessly. Everything works except mail on the powerbook. I can not check my .mac mail using Mail or Webmail. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

    Ok I fixed the problem. When internet connection sharing is on and you have your firewall up it blocks port 143 so you have to open your firewall settings in preferances and click new to add a listing for port 143, I named it IMAP cause thats the port imap mail uses and mac.com is an imap server
