Outlook issues in Office for Mac

Why is it that I seem to have lost certain useful functions when I try to use Outlook on my Mac? I have purchased and downloaded the Office:Mac 2011, but I cannot find "Message Recall" or "Message Read" verification. Any ideas?

I don't know what the other feature is, "Message Read" verification, can you give me a little more detail.
