Reading .XIF files?

Anyone know of Mac software which can read a .xif image file? This is an extension of the TIFF format and is used by Pagis scanning SW, which is, unfortunately, Windows only. Tried PS with no results.

Try to open it using quicktime, I know that qt has a whole host of image translators...

not sure if it will work but worth a shot

Unfortunately, Quicktime does not work, and I don't want to buy QT Pro to find out. Does anyone else have experience with .xif files?

I'm looking for a solution, too. But to tide you over - if you rename the .XIF to .TIF it'll open in Preview.
