CD track names revert back to Track 01 etc

Hi..... I am importing a pile of cds into iTunes over a few weeks as I have over a 1000 and most I have had to put in all the CD info - track names etc. 

I have just gone back and all the CD info is gone and they have reverted back to "Track 01" etc and the album names and art work have gone too. Very painful.... please help.
