How do you capture the CMD-TAB keystroke?

I want to program my Macally iceMOUSE JR's wheel button to switch between applications, but I can't enter the keystroke command-tab!!

When I enter that keystroke, the machine does what it's supposed to do and switches applications. I tried to figure out how to turn OFF the command-tab behavior momentarily...but don't see a way to do it.

Any suggetions are appreciated...

I considered going in and physically altering the prefs (.plist) file, but it's too difficult for my skill level.

Here's what THAT looks like:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

<plist version="1.0">

<dict>

\t<key>AppleNavServices:ChooseObject:0 osition</key>

\t<data>

\tAOABHQ==

\t</data>

\t<key>AppleNavServices:ChooseObject:0:Size& lt;/key>

\t<data>

\tAAAAAAF4AcI=

\t</data>

\t<key>AppleNavServices utFile:0 isclosure</key>

\t<data>

\tAA==

\t</data>

\t<key>AppleNavServices utFile:0 ath</key>

\t<string>file://localhost/Users/andrewdu/Documents/</string>

\t<key>AppleNavServices utFile:0 osition</key>

\t<data>

\tAFIBDg==

\t</data>

\t<key>AppleNavServices utFile:0:Size</key>

\t<data>

\tAAAAAAHkAd8=

\t</data>

</dict>

</plist>

okay,

that's all I have!
