New iPhone for everyone... iOS7!!!
I have a new iPhone and it's not a 5c or a 5s, it was free from Apple: It's iOS 7!
All of us missed the point and I did too. The new hardware announcement wasn't the new phone, it was the new operating system and the wonderful news is that everyone with an iPhone 4s (like me) or higher and quite a few of the previous iPads join in the fun!
We have forgotten, given that Apple's competitors separate the OS from the hardware, that it takes both to create the experience that is your phone, but Apple didn't. I've been very critical of Apple post "Uncle Steve", but "Uncle Jonny" seems to have finally been given the reigns and it shows. I'm learning new things as I play with my "new phone" and I'm enjoying every second of it.
Thank you Apple for my new free phone. I love it!
