hello my name is har1 and i'm having a problem with my ipod. well it syncing to my old computer which i had accidentally broken when i took it  to the repair shop and now my ipod is still syncing with that computer and i can't get rid of it!!  

 

ipod version :   6.1.3

 

Itunes Version :   11.1.1

 

Please Help me !  and how do u get rid of an old libray?

    Hmm. Not quite sure what’s going on here, but the simplest thing to do would be to put the iPod in DFU mode (or at least forcibly shut it down) and then reinstall (or restart) to see if that will stop the syncing.

     

    You have the iPod’s important content backed up somewhere, right?

     

    Anyway, here’s the simplest way to do that.

    Tallest's idea will work just fine, there is also a great program that will do what you want called GTKpod. http://sourceforge.net/projects/gtkpod/

     

    I built my own binary from source but here is a prebuilt for OSX, I haven't tried it yet so let me know how it goes. http://mac.softpedia.com/get/iPod-Tools/Gtkpod.shtml
