HTML emails (and pics that are not attachments)

Does anyone know how to create (or insert) HTML messages in mail? or how to add an image as a signature that doesn't show up as a attachment, like in entourage?

    I don't think you can. Mail allows you to view embedded HTML in messages you have received, but I don't think it allows you to embed HTML in your own messages. It's still quite a basic email client in that respect <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

    Ok lets change the question slightly then, what is the best way to create html based emails (like what apple send out) that can be read on any platform?

    Welcome J-e-O!



    You need a script called "Send Complex HTML." Simply, you'll create a HTML e-mail in DW, (or whatever program you prefer), then preview it in Internet Explorer. Then, you'll switch to Entourage, and select this item from the script menu. It will then encode what's in IE, and send it out as an e-mail. Works like a charm.

    WOW! that script works! It's amazing I can get what ever I make in dreamweaver to work in the email browsers (well mail still is a bit dogey) On PC and Mac So cool thanks for the help.
