12" PowerBook vs. Buffalo Airstation
I got my 12" PowerBook today and it's great. However, it only partly works with my a Buffalo AirStation (it's an 802.11g access point and router in one).
Although I can happily browse the web with Safari, the Mac can't resolve www.apple.com . If you type in the corresponding IP address (17.254.0.91, found by pinging www.apple.com on my PC) it works fine. All other URLs I've tried (including the non apple.com ones on the Apple website) work fine. This happens for both Airport and Ethernet.
The basestation gives the Mac ethernet addresses by DHCP, both wired and wireless, with no trouble.
This doesn't happen with the other wired nodes on the network (a Windows 2000 PC and a Mac running 8.6).

I'll update to 10.2.4 to see if it solves the problem (currently at 10.2.3).
I'm posting this wirelessly from my PowerBook.
