Does iPod support id3 2.4.0

well as the subject said... does iPod recognize id3 tags of version 2.4.0??? I plan to get an iPod sometime mid january and i have been updating my mp3's wondering if its worth it

    Ummm, i ahve never seen id3 tags that are version 2.4.... iTunes doesn't have it... I would assume it would play if you can currently play the songs in iTunes
