Magic Trackpad loses blue tooth connectivity after installing Mavericks

SOOOOOO irritating.

Just installed Mavericks on my imac & now each time my mac goes into a hard sleep it takes me 2-5 minutes to  "wake connectivity" in the trackpad.   click, click, click, click ( you get the idea- x, 100000)

A pop up tells me I "lost Connectivity" then tells me I have connected.... although NOTHING happens.  I go through the motions of click, click, click. click ( x10000), turning the track pad on & of, etc...so it sync it via bluetooth.

Wireless keyboard has had one issue that is the same....

Imac 2010

mavericks

thanks for any ideas-

I have had a bunch of similar problems after upgrading to Mavericks.  One thing that has helped occasionally (but not permanently) is 'Force Quit' (command - option - escape) and then relaunching 'Finder'.  So every time I have a problem, I take a few seconds to relaunch Finder and sometimes it works.

    Hope this works for you.
