Can I use DDR3 1333 Ram in a Early 2009 iMac.

I have 8GB 1333 ram for a 2011 Macbook, 2011 MacMini and 2011 IMac.

My question is can I put this in an early 2009 iMac, i.e. will it run at 1066.  I know I use to use PC-133 RAM in my old crt iMac that used PC-100 without any problems

I bought this RAM for a Company issued Macbook Pro.  They wouldn't pay for it so when I quit, I put back in their 4GB and kept my 8GB.  Now If I can't use it in my iMac I'll have to sell it on eBay.

Didn't work for me,  I had the early 2009 iMac only two slots not four,  when I loaded the DDR3 1333 RAM and restarted I got an Alarm sound,  replaced the original ram. everything was fine.

    You mean four, not eight.

Sounds more like the RAM was bad.
