Canon ZR40 may not work with certain software

The new ZR40s have finally included analog-to-digital pass thru conversion (convert analog to digital directly onto your computer), but at least one description I saw said that this may not work with certian software.



Anyone had any personal experience with a ZR40 and iMovie? Will it do pass thru?
