Newton references to Inkwell removed
Apple has stopped referring to Inkwell as a Newton technology, instead saying that Ink is based on the 'Apple handwriting recognition engine'.
If Apple were to release a device utilizing this technology (such as a tablet or handheld computer), they might not want to reference the Newton due to its history, knowing that consumers might not buy a new 'Newton'.
I'm kind of surprised by Apple's move to do this, but then again, if they were to release a new device, they wouldn't want to reference their first PDA.
