ipod and external hard drive question

hello!



does external hard drive work well with an ipod? and what external hard drive (to store music in it) do you recommend to use with an ipod? friend of mine has an external hard drive.. and he told me synchronizing with an ipod is a problem. thank you for any information! have a great day~!

    I know what your friend means, and yes at times my external firewire drive isn't recognized when my ipods plugged in. I still have the icons, but it won't open the drives.



    No big deal to me since i don't leave my ipod plugged in all the time anyways. My external drive is pure storage of art and digital photos.
