They said this month, there's usually nothing new posted at weekends and I doubt they'll leave it until Monday (30th), so I guess it's this week.
I can't wait!

ME TOO! but i 'd like to know just what I can sync and over what methods...palm via IR? Bluetooth only? USB? Any details, i've not seen any but then i've not looked that hard...
Several internal builds have been leaked as of late. I too suspect the final should be ready this week.
Of course, I haven't really been able to test the program very thoroughly since I don't have an iPod or PDA. All I can to is look at the slick little interface.
Tested it with my ipod. It would only sync 3 of my ical calenders, the other 2 it would just ignore. I had to export them manualy. As for my contacts, it screwed up the address's.
I certainly hope Apple fixes this problem, otherwise this program is useless!
Yep. Beta at the end of Sept., with a full version by the end of the year.

Where did you hear that? I'm fairly sure I remember Steve saying at MW that iCal and iSync would both be out in September, nothing about a Public Beta. Plus, on the web page it says: [quote]iSync will be available as a free download starting this September

Was there another more recent announcement that I missed?

Didn't they announce that it would just be public beta at the end of September?

Yep. Beta at the end of Sept., with a full version by the end of the year.
I'd say that's so they can add Bluetooth sync support for Palms (and possibly IR support for both Palms and phones as well).
I didn't try BlueTooth since I don't have a BlueTooth adapter or device, maybe that part isn't finished.

yep. he said it at AEP
Then again, it's only 3 p.m. in Cupertino. I'm sure they'll still be at work for a couple more hours, even on a Friday.
Still...
I predict iSync will be released Monday, Sept. 30! You heard it here... um... 4,567th.
Oh, the iSync stuff is cool, too; I was referring to the Bush quote in your sig.
